With a husband-and-wife duo at the helm—a seasoned contractor and a savvy business expert—we combine 30 years of experience with a commitment to dependable service and exceptional workmanship.
OUR STORY
JedCo Remodeling INC, dba The Door Specialist, dba JedCo Handyman Services is a family-owned & operated business serving the Austin area and surrounding communities. Ed began learning his trade by working alongside his father at the age of 16, mastering the art of construction and remodeling. His favorite thing to do now is install doors, and he is fast and efficient at it. Michelle has owned three businesses in the Austin area since 1992 and brings her talents to the table as Chief Financial Officer. Their son Beau also expressed his desire to learn a trade and began working as an apprentice alongside Ed in 2022. Today, JedCo combines decades of expertise with a deep commitment to customer satisfaction, providing handyman services, custom door installations, and kitchen and bathroom remodels from Round Rock to San Marcos and from Leander to Bastrop.

Founder & Administrator
Brains behind the Operation
Watching Ed love his craft and do such beautiful work over the past 15 years, Michelle brings her business skills to the table by creating the bids, keeping the project calendar and following up with the clients for payment and feedback.
Beau
Apprentice
Keeping Ed Level
Expressing interest to learn a trade right after high school, Beau now works alongside Ed every day watching, learning, and doing.
Father to 2 year old Miles, Beau will be teaching our fourth generation the ropes as well.
